Repair an agent

Repair gives an agent a new connection. Its secrets stay as they are.

When to repair

The agent moved to another computer.
You reinstalled its computer.
Its connection stopped working.
You think its connection leaked.

Repair an agent

Open Agents, select Repair on the agent, and confirm.
Choose the computer and select Make a new claim code.
Paste the new message into the agent's chat.

Get help

If the agent says unauthorized

It has an old connection, usually after a repair. Paste the repair's message into its chat, and remove any WUNDERVAULT_AGENT_TOKEN line from its settings.

If the agent says Claim expired

The claim code ran out: each lasts 15 minutes. Repair the agent and paste the new message.
